Dental Health Month-2-15-08
For dental health month, Dr. Shane Roberts visited the kindergarten classes Friday to talk to us about dental health. What fun it was for a local dentist to come and talk to us about a topic we have been discussing at school. Thank you Dr. Shane Roberts. We learned a lot.
Jan./Feb.08-Author Studies
We began author studies in January. We have discussed Iza Trapani, Tomie dePaola, Cynthia Rylant, and Jan Brett. I have added some websites for the authors that have websites. Ask your children about these authors and books they have written and illustrated. Ask them what new authors we are talking about. We discuss one author per week.
Christmas Party-07
We had a great Christmas party this year. We made pillowcases to use for stockings. These stockings can be kept as a keepsake. We had a snack after lunch and were able to open our stockings full of goodies we all brought for each other. There were several parents that attended the party as well.
PTA Christmas Program-12-17-07
We had a Christmas program at school on Tuesday evening. We sang several songs that Miss Bynum the music teacher taught us. We were all dressed up. The tree decorated in the back is every kindergartner's hand print.Centers-12/07

I try to take a picture of each child each month. This was in front of a Halloween quilt in the kindergarten hallway.
